Description | The Beetle Project is looking at strategies which aim to improve recovery and reduce time spent in hospital for older adults who go in for planned procedures. We would like to work with people aged 60 or over who have been admitted to hospital overnight for a planned procedure; or carers, family, and friends who have supported older adults around their hospital admission. A ‘planned procedure’ is basically a non-emergency admission to hospital for something like surgery. We are creating an advisory group to ensure the perspectives of patients and carers are considered and addressed. |
