Project ID: 970
Description | Between January and June 2018, a shared learning project was run with the University of the Third Age in Greenwich. As with the London and Middlesex SLP, the team was charged with using the hearth tax returns as a starting point and following their interest to reveal stories of Greenwich and the people who lived there in the late seventeenth century. In this post, Michael Zell and Jackie Davies investigate the people that lived in the High Street East and King’s Barn areas of Greenwich. |
