| Description | In Orpington's History group, each member in turn researches their favourite subject and presents it to the monthly meeting. Subjects have included mediaeval buildings, the Ottoman Empire, Alexander the Great and Joan of Arc. Researchers check and co-ordinate their findings from books and produce visual aids where possible. |
